We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD,
and his might, and the wonders that he has done.

Back Home in Albania

Well we just got new internet service in our home which will hopefully be more consistent and faster then the last service that we had.

Tonight we went to Vera's House first and then to Lida's (some friends of ours here in Albania). They are very traditional. So we brought Samuel over to Vera's house first, and as soon as we walked in she took him from us and gave him a finger full of sugar in his mouth. That was so he would grow up and be sweet. Then she gave him an egg so that he would have children when he is older.

Then we went to Lida's house and they got the flour out and spread it all over his chin so he looked like he had a beard to make him look like an old man. That was so that he would have a long life and grow up to be an old man. Lida gave Samuel an egg, too.

Enjoy the picutres...

Gretchen, he is precious! I'm so sad I didn't get to see you when you were in the states. Maybe I'll just come to Albania and visit!

Oh, and I LOVE the rubber duck bathtub!
